Why your school should get involved with Box of Hope
In 2021, over 130 schools and kindergartens in Hong Kong joined our campaign. We would love to have your school involved in 2022. Help us to bring more gifts to children living in poverty, who may not receive a gift this festive period.
In joining us, your students will learn key life skills of helping those in need and experience goodwill.

Schools supporting children
Register your school’s interest in the Box of Hope campaign and we will send you more information on how your students can get involved, learn about poverty and reap the rewards of generous gift giving to children less fortunate than themselves.
In addition Box of Hope is looking at expanding our partnership with secondary students who can get involved as part of a CAS project. There are several options for minor and major projects – please email us at email@example.com if you would like to find out more.
How a box of hope benefits child learning
It is our intention that schools, teachers and students feel enriched by their their experience with Box of Hope.
Creativity knows no boundaries when it comes to box decoration - just be sure to leave room for the box sticker!
Students have first-hand experience of positivity, care, empathy and thoughtfulness in preparing their gift box
Box of Hope is the perfect opportunity for students to learn of social hardship, inequality and poverty, in Hong Kong and South East Asia.
The project can be used as means of examination of social demographics within the South East Asia region.
Give the students the opportunity to work with a budget, purchasing all the essential items to go in their box.
The children who receive boxes love reading the many poems, rhymes and messages created by students – makes the boxes extra special!
how underprivileged children benefit
Receiving a gift brings feelings of warmth and happiness, even more so to children who do not receive gifts on a regular basis, if at all. Our gifts aim to give these children the change to experience joy, happiness, and positivity, not just in receiving their gifts, but also with being supported by a community at large. Knowing that there are others who are thinking of them, makes the children feel considered and grateful. We couldn’t ask for anymore.
